Video

This is a lyrical photo poem of beautiful girls and women in, under, and near water. They were taken in Tuscany, Italy and the cold creeks and pools in Arizona’s Red Rock country. I used  Nikon D810 and  Nikon Infrared-converted  cameras. I also used GoPro and iPhone cameras with underwater housings. The lovely music is the folksong “Si Bheag, Si Mhor” arranged and played by Fitzhugh Jenkins.

This video is based on photographs taken during a 2018 Workshop in Camaguey Cuba, sponsored by The Santa Fe workshops and led by Elizabeth Opalenik.  When I got home I played with the images in Photoshop and then created a visual narrative using Premier Pro video editing because I felt the dancers in particular needed music…
